marinecorpswall-entirewall.jpg (12178 bytes)On February 7, 1997, the Trustees of the Hall of Fame of Parachuting voted unanimously to build the U.S. MARINE CORPS KOREAN WAR MEMORIAL at the World Commemorative Center in Felicity, California.
marinecorpswall-dedication.jpg (12982 bytes) The groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 8, 1997, and the completed monument was dedicated one year later on March 7, 1998.

Between June 1950 and July 1953, 4,617 Marines and 107 Navy Corpsmen gave their lives defending for the United States during the Korean War. The war stemmed naked aggression and was fought for freedom and honor.

The names, in 3/4" high letters, along with rank and note of Navy Cross and Congressional Medal of Honor awards where applicable, are engraved for the ages.
